I'm at a loss about what to do and really don't want to reinstall Windows just to update EZD. Unless you are a registered user at ezdrummer.com you cannot read this thread but would save time here if you are: http://www.toontrack.com/forum/m.aspx?m=42612&mpage=1&key= Bottome line: I only get this error when trying to load Toontrack products including EZDrummer, Cocktail, & Nashville EZX. I have not gotten the error on anything else including SPE6.2, P5, DP, Ozone 3, Adobe, Quicktime, etc. Problem: I can skip all the errors (100s) and it seems to load and work fine. However, I cannot update to the most recent version which is required to use the latest EZXs like Nashville. The update seems to load fine but the ezdrummer.dll file remains the old version. When I initially installed the program, I let it install automatically. When I went to look for it in the plug-in manager, I couldn't find it. I asked the VST folder to scan the programs/toontrack folder but that didn't work either. So I uninstalled the program.I tried re-installing it "custom" trying internal error 2908 to put the program into the VST folder of Cakewalk and the sounds into a different drive. I got error messages and couldn't install it this way.Can you help or have suggestions?ThanksRandy Report to Moderator garrigus Moderator USA 13339 Posts Posted-11/08/2007: 2:57:13 PM Hi Randy,Welcome to DigiFreq!EZDrummer has to be installed as a VST plug-in. I don't remember what the steps are during the installation as I installed my copy a long time ago, but it should ask where you usually store your VST plug-ins. You should point it to the normal Cakewalk folder which is C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VstpluginsAfter its installed and you start Sonar (be sure Sonar isn't running when you're installed EZD), Sonar should scan that folder automatically and at EZD to the synth list.Did you already try all those steps?Scott --Scott R.
