Check out http://www.yelloworangeroom.comIn this video I show you a few things to look for to fix your furnace. It's expensive to call a repair man and most of the time is not needed. I am not an expert, just someone trying to share my experience with you to save some money. Always turn your power to your furnace off before tampering with things. This would be a good video to start with because I try to show a general idea of how a furnace works. When all else fails, you have to call an expert, but first try the steps in this video. Here is a list of codes that was posted to www.doityourself.com by Huston204Flash sequence codes 1 through 11 are as follows: LED will turn "on"for 1/4 second and "off" for 1/4 second. This pattern will be repeated thenumber of times equal to the code. For example, six "on" flashes equalsa number 6 fault code. All flash code sequences are broken by a 2 second"off" period.SLOW GREEN FLASH: Normal operation.

Usually I'll see a glow, then a flame but I'm not even seeing a glow. I had this problem last year and eventually with enough persistence (just kept trying to turn it on and off) it did come on. We got it to turn on once yesterday but that was the only time in 3 days. The red light furnace error codes flashes 7 times (gas valve circuit error?) but when it is off it flashes 3 times. I'm very confused and my toes are cold! I have no idea where any sensors are (if there are more than one), and I'm hoping if anybody can help they can kind of tell me where to look. I have no idea where the gas valve is to check IT either. Please be easy on me! Carefully observe the sequence of events that occurs when the thermostat is turned up to call for heat. You might have to repeat that a few times until you can follow that sequence accurately. Post what you see here, along with the model number of the furnace from the rating plate in the burner compartment. 12-02-10,11:29 AM #3 TKmorris Member Join Date Dec 2010 State GA Posts 3 ok so when I turned it on all 5 of the lights came on and the red light was steady blinking fairly slowly while the fan was running pulling the air up into the unit. After that it clicked, the red light began flashing rapidly (7 times per sequence) and this would normally be the time I would see the glow, the top fan with the vent (don't make fun of my lack of heater kno

We run the furnace mostly in emergency mode if that matters. The furnace now started to cut out heating at 67deg not matter how high the thermostat is set. It started doing that yesterday and we switched it off over night and it worked fine again for a couple of hours this morning and than it did it again. I did the "I do not know anything besides changing the filter" and flipped the breaker and it worked again. Of course this all happens after the warranty expired and it`s going to be a very cool night. Any suggestions? Does it try to light? (please be detailed with what happens) On the furnace portion there should be a board inside with a diagnostic LED (or LEDs) or a number display. Let go through it's cycle to where it shuts down, then check the board. Look in your manual or on one of the labels inside the door and let us know the flashes and what it says for that flash. Also post your full model number. I can get you more info then.
