Turn the power off and refer to the Nintendo http://www.gamespot.com/forums/nintendo-fan-club-1000001/my-wii-wont-read-gamecube-disks-27356261/ Gamecube instruction booklet for further instructions" so i restart the wii and try again. same thing, but less time before the message appears again. restart and try again, doesn't even get to the title screen. again and it gets to the first warning. next time i try to load the disk it won't even start without that message. but if i wait some time and then try playing, the whole cycle starts again. i got the wii used, but the disks worked fine for about two years before now. what do i do? how do i fix this? penpusherMember Since: June 30, 2004Posts: 3573penpusherFollowForum Posts: 3573Followed by: 0Reviews: 3 Stacks: 0Forum Karma: 0#2 Posted by penpusher (3573 posts) - 6 years, 3 months ago ive occassionally had this myself, only nintendo can sort this for you because its the wii not the games pokemondude2012Member Since: March 7, 2010Posts: 5938pokemondude2012FollowForum Posts: 5938Followed by: 0Reviews: 0 Stacks: 0Forum Karma: 0#3 Posted by po

For the past year whenever I turn on my nintendo gamecube it comes up with the error: "An error has occurred. Turn the Power Off and check the Nintendo GameCube Instruction Booklet for further instructions fix" Now, the only thing I can find gamecube disc online about this at all is the pdf for the Instruction manual which tells me to just call nintendo support. I did that a long time ago and they told me to send it in. I do not want to spend that kind of money, especially now that it is years outdated. Does anybody have any idea what the issue is? I love learning about electronics. Is it a motherboard issue? The disc spins and it is not game specific. The gamecube games on same message pops up even if there is no game. So far everybody online has been completely useless. I could easily drop a small amount of money and get another one these days, but then I would learn nothing about the system. I am doing this as a learning experience as to what makes electronics run, so do not give me bullshit about how I could easily just go buy another. Answer this question I have this problem too Subscribed to new answers Is this a good question?
