'95.Installation with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547369 cups and printing works fine. It's connected via a "Prolific" Parallel-USB Adapter Now I want to use the hplip-program to read out hp-setup error the level of the cartridge. But every hplip program like "hp-levels", "hp-info" and "hp-testpage" shows me a:error: No device selected/specified or that supports this functionality.or:error: No printers found. Please setup a printer and try again. So I startet "hp-setup" to configure the printer with the hplip-programm.The hp-setup error invalid terminal output:error: No devices found on bus: usbThe automatic discovery, nor the manual discovery with the given USB Device and Bus ID are working I tried for the ID's "002:004" and "067b:2305" but none of them is working.Screenshot:Also working with the command-lien doesnt work:[root /home/joschi] lpstat -dSystem-Standardzielort: Hewlett-Packard_HP_LaserJet_5P[joschi ~] hp-levels -p Hewlett-Packard_HP_LaserJet_5PHP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.10.6)Supply Levels Utility ver. 2.0Copyright (c) 2001-9 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, LPThis software comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.This is free software, and you are welcome to distribute itunder certain conditions. The device is setup, but not printing job really is printed on the printer. Problem seems to be with device connected thru parallel port, because when it is tried with hp-setup it reports invalid device URI. Was working in F10 OK, without any tweaks.
