They are connecting to HQ at 5 min intervals, once an hour. There is a total of 10 stores. I have a problem with one store only. Once in a while, the event log in HQ will give me an error message when the worksheet 401 is running. The error message is ALWAYS at night, between 20h and 23h30 (which is the last connection planed in the day). The error message is : error 3002, could not open file. The odd thing is that when I check on the status of the worksheet after that, it is on a green flag st

April 20, 2007, 4:20 pm We are creating a rather large worksheet 250/260(> 33,000 items). It works fine on one of our stores (running SQL 2000 SP4 same location as HQ) without any issues. When we run the worksheets for the other store (SQL 2005 Express), it runs for an indetminiate time (about an hour) and fails. The worksheets run if we break the number down to less than 5000 items. We adjusted the time on the HQ Client in the registry as recommended. We are now recieving a new error message related to this syncronization. Here's the error message in the HQ Client Log: Download Items-Stag 4/20/2007 12:06:40 PM Ref. Then restart the HQ Server Re-index both ends HQ

My workaround was: make a backup of the store database during off hours, copy the .bck file to the server, restore the database locally to the HQ server, and use an HQ Client on the LAN to connect them together. The 10/100/1000mbit speed times should allow the data to process much faster, evading the timeout limit. After this is done, you can take down the local SO database and run the 401 on the actual store level and it should process very quickly. Make sure you have daily 401 enabled through the Admin->Stores->Properties->connection schedule in the HQ manager. Hope this helps.
