However, issues are encountered when other users are attempting to submit the form. One user gets: InfoPath cannot submit the form. An error occurred while the form was being submitted. The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http://website.com/document.xml There is a problem with the Web server. Make sure the Web server exists, try again later or contact the Web server administrator. Another user gets: InfoPath cannot submit the form. An error occurred while the form was being submitted. The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http://website.com/document.xml Server error: Access denied. Why are they having issues? Even stranger - there is a workflow that sends out an email whenever an item is added to the list. This workflow manages to get triggered when the form apparently failed upon being submitted! I see this website (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb251749(v=office.12).aspx) suggesting to Manage Credentials but I don't have this feature in my InfoPath Designer 2007... why? Thanks. And here is a thread talking about the similar issue, you can refer to it: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointinfopath/thread/7c02a4e6-39ce-4616-ad2b-f8559a7527d4 Hope this helps. If you are good in all of these points then check if you are directing to a valid URL in your infopath form. Try adding the site in your trusted site. See below link for adding it in trusted site zone. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-zones-adding-removing-websites#1TC=windows-7 If the error persists, verbose ULS logs will be really helpful to troubleshoot the issue. share|improve this answer answered Apr 25 at 11:04 Muhammad Zeeshan Tahir 1928 the thing is that few are able to submit, but a few are not &ndas

If that doesn't work, it's possible your farm administrator has done the same as mine and disabled the ability to publish forms with Code Behind. If that is the case, then only a farm administrator can publish the form as trusted. EDIT In my case, I was able to get my security team to issue me a 'code signing certificate'. With that certificate attached to the form, I was able to publish a code behind form to Sharepoint 2010 as the site collection administrator. share|improve this answer edited Aug 22 '13 at 0:03 answered Aug 21 '13 at 23:57 Cameron Smothers 9019 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Ema

Suchit shah replied to j t on 08-Dec-11 01:13 PM Many things to point out here: InfoPath isn't for creating new documents in doc libs. It's for submitting InfoPath forms to Form Libraries (be clear on the semantics) YOu should not have any files of any type with spaces and parentheses like that. You need to make sure people cannot name files manually and definitely don't put those types of characters in filenames. Here is my example of how to do this:InfoPath – Auto-Generating Filenames You don't use aliases in DNS for SharePoint. Only use Host A records When working with InfoPath, your data connections should be created in the same zone (same URL) as where the form is utilized. You don't just add an Alternate Access Mapping. You extend the existing web app to a new zone and specify BHAP as the name of that new web app. This creates a new IIS site with the proper bind
