Internal Error Adobe Encore
NEXT >> • "Internal software error" ? by MikeyBee on Sep 13, 2007 at 1:31:19 am Couldn't find squat for this online, so maybe someone has run into this... Clicked "Build DVD" and I get this part way into the process: PGC "Abandoned (timeline name)" has an error at 00;7;02;28. internal software error: %0, line Abandoned - PGC Info: name = Abandoned, ref = Vpgc, time = 00:07:02:28 Everything's ready for burning to DVD. I've made sure all my assets are the right aspect ratio and have tried reimporting and retranscoding everything and making sure my timelines don't have gaps, etc. etc. I also re-rendered that particular clip and brought it back in. Doesn't make sense. I have several similar clips (they are all the same with different text) and the rest work just fine. Nothing seems to be wrong at that timecode either. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated and accepted. I figured it out. For those of you having a similar problem, here's what I did: I simply opened the original in Premiere Pro and exported it with Adobe Media Encoder as MPEG2-DVD using the 7Mbps CBR 1 pass preset. This imported into Encore without needing transcoding, and the Build DVD continued with no more internal software error.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: "Internal software error" ?by Marcellus on Oct 11, 2007 at 10:04:11 amHi I have the same error but the solution you give is useless because it happens on a slideshow (some jpgs + mp3 audiotrack) made in Encore 2.0 when trying to build the DVD, the error appears :( any help is welcome.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: "Internal software error" ?by Dayna De Hoyos on Sep 18, 2014 at 12:22:41 amI just tried this and it worked. If you read the forums, there's not single cause for this and no definitive fix for it either. It seems most often to be related to chapter marks. Here is a forum link that somewhat summarizes what is found on the other forums. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/498241 As a quick experiment, make a copy of your project and remove the chapter marks and try to encode a DVD. It if works without the chapter marks, at least you know that you're on the right track. If not, you can probably ignore the discussion of chapter marks and look at some of the other solutions. 0 Message Author Comment by:artismobile2011-02-21 I searched that forum FOREVER and couldn't find a thing. After searching the internet for answers, I ended up empty-handed and unsatisfied. I have internal error edited my footage in Premiere Pro CS5, 1 hour of video and audio, divided in 17 chapters. This I have imported into Encore CS5. The Encore project consists of 2 timelines, one slideshow and 2 menus. When I'm trying to build my DVD (after checking my project), I alternately get the messages "General error" and "Internal software error: .\EditorTemplates.cpp, line 698". Things I found on others forums, that didn't work: - scaling down my images in the slideshow - internal error adobe removing all overrides (that weren't there anyway) - looking for loose ends in my flowcharts Can anyone please help me? I really don't know what I should do more! Thanks in advance, Elbert (The Netherlands) Last edited by Elbert; 4th Jan 2013 at 06:15. Did you render the Premiere timeline into an MPEG-2 file and import that into Encore as a timeline or did you use Adobe Dynamic Link? And did you do the slideshow in Premiere? If so, did you render it out? Brainiac Last edited by Brainiac; 4th Jan 2013 at 08:27. Yes, both programs are updated, I have used the Adobe Dynamic Link and the slideshow was built in Encore. I'm not too keen on exporting first, because of the quality loss. with the production suite CS2 and now worked on the Master Collection CS3 upgraded. (Before installing the same time the system set up, but otherwise unchanged Calculator) All Programs function properly until EncoreDVD. The error description is somewhat difficult. Feierabend principle is always where I want to create the image. After transcoding is always breaking in "Project will be started" with an "internal software error" from. The message varies from time to time, depending on how my videos and read menus. To so many sources of error as possible to conclude, I of course synonymous with a variety of videos and menus rumprobiert (always the same result). The interesting, the videos are imported, on average, and the preview window synonymous not display properly. Actually, only a black screen with a small visible strip at bottom. But the whole is even more confusing. Did you look at the parallel CS2 and made it because nothing works now also when you export. Here, no error, Encore will hang when exporting or simply makes s.dem item "Import Video" (after transcoding) next and not depend on. I transcode a video clip of hand, according to status display synonymous Feierabend s.dem point where the clip again Trankodierte need to be imported ... OK, I thought now open an old project before the whole mess successfully created and completed. Behold, here just the same. Nothing works anymore! Soooo ... now I'm desperate. What can something be? Would really appreciate for help. Antwort von Mylenium:You have the flat to make any codecs in with a ton of gekloppt that your system seems to need, I would say. Has Encore themselves with nothing to do, rather you must decide which updates for Media Player & Co. drauf you had and what additional tools such as VirtualDub, DivX, DVD player software, etc.. Any tool has the secret magic with komponente's system brought on ... Also mach nochmal Windows Update and install. NET Runtime, DirectX and MeidPlayer in the latest versions and all relevant patches. Mylenium Antwort von chrisl:Hi, I had the same problem, there is definitely s.Videomaterial. Try your material already in the run-up to convert to mpeg2 but not with Premiere or After Effects to the material seem flawed or greater
