(Read 695 times) Carlotto Newbie Posts: 1 Problem uploading custom ringtone « on: May 24, 2013, 08:23:50 AM » I have a problem uploading a custom ring1.bin to the DP715.When I reboot the DP715, it wants the firmware, so I put it there as well as the ringtone. The Solarwinds TFTP server log looks like this, a bit abbreviated:binary, GET, Started, file name c:\TFTP-Root\dp715fw.bin, file size: 7504332binary, GET, Interrupted by client, received error packet with code: 1 and message: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/thread/19919 CancelledRepeated twice. No mention of the ring1.bin.If I omit the firmware file and just put ring1.bin in the TFTP root, it just says it can't find the fw file. No mention of the ring1.bin.I have tried to put the TFTP server IP in the box for config files as well but the only difference then is that http://forums.grandstream.com/forums/index.php?topic=15599.0 the phone tries to grab a few xml files and fails. Still no attempt to get the ring1.bin.If I boot up my GXP2110 instead with the same TFTP server and ring1.bin in there (only), it picks it up fine.I have also tried a http server and when checking the logs I can see the same result - no attempt to get the ring1.bin.Anyone with a clue? This feature is available only on the GXP series phones of Grandstream.Regards. L
