My DHCP configuration: Option 66 : myserveripaddress Option 67 : SMSBoot\x64\wdsmgfw.efi Option 60 : support When I try to boot the machine (Hp http://serverfault.com/questions/196981/cant-force-hpz600-workstation-into-pxe Pro x2 612) the PXE starts but I receive the error: Windows Deployment Services encountered an error: Error Code: 0x102 Any Help is appreciated :) Friday, November 14, 2014 3:06 PM Reply | Quote All replies pxe-e61 media 0 Sign in to vote Try to get rid of DHCP options and use IPhelpers instead. Also make sure that you are using a boot images that matches the architecture of the OS to be deployed.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de Proposed as answer by grundlichkeit Friday, November 21, 2014 10:14 AM Friday, November 14, 2014 3:22 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Hi, I don't want to get rid of pxe-e61 media test DHCP options. I've found something strange in the PXE Logs: 14:58:D0:BA:0E:A9, 81403D7F-5654-11E4-B1F5-0A91BF0CF0FF: no advertisements found But on the SCCM if i look on the advertisement for my machine the Advertisement is here. Friday, November 14, 2014 3:38 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Change this to x86 for 2012 R2 SMSBoot\x86\wdsmgfw.efi If you check on the WDS server remote install folder I don't think youll find the efi file under the 64 bit folder. Friday, November 14, 2014 3:47 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Hi have checked and the in the x64 folder there is a WDSMGFW.efi Specifically, I've read that you NEED the x64 .efi for x64 based os. I've triyed what you suggested, but with this setting, the PXE fail directly with: "An error occured with the boot selection verifiy media is present and retry". Friday, November 14, 2014 3:53 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote I don't want to get rid of DHCP options. Why? They are officially not supported and you won't be able to deploy x86 and x64 UEFI OSes at the same time then.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de Friday, November 14, 2014 4:00 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Try removing all three dhcp options Fr

When the cluster node boots up the head node reports that it is 'sending PXE command to boot node to WINPE (expected boot time: 5-15 minutes)'. Meanwhile the cluster node goes into PXE, but sits twiddling it's timer before reporting a PXE-M0f then finally a non-system disk error. I've reconfigured the DHCP and now that the Z600 is picking up an IP address PXE is working. share|improve this answer answered Nov 3 '10 at 14:07 nick3216 15829 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
