Xcode can't seem to find my 'Info.plist' file. I've checked the answers to these two StackOverflow questions (Could not read from Info.plist and Objective C/Xcode error: The file “Info.plist” couldn’t be opened because there is no such file)...I am using a relative path, and the plist file is in the correct absolute location. The type and location are correct as shown in the image below: My biggest concern is that this is now happening on multiple projects, including one info plist info plist couldn t be removed I ran successfully just a few hours ago! Does anyone know how to solve this??? EDIT I've also tried reinstalling XCODE and replacing the plist file. Xcode still can't find 'info.plist'. NOTE I wanted to add that this was for Xcode 6.2.X (I can't remember which version number exactly, but it was pre-Xcode 6.3.X). ios objective-c xcode relative-path info.plist share|improve this question edited May 14 '15 at 12:41 asked Oct 4 '14 at 3:46 narner 1,2241731 see the answer here stackoverflow.com/questions/6145916/… hopefully this helps for you –Steve Rosenberg Oct 4 '14 at 3:48 Hey @MinnesotaSteve, I did try that, but still keep getting the error..it looks to me as if my path is set correctly in the build settings :/ –narner Oct 4 '14 at 3:57 crap - I'll think of something else. Idk, help? 1 Answer Iain Diamond 29,371 Points Iain Diamond Iain Diamond 29,371 Points over 1 year ago My understanding is, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26189404/info-plist-utility-error-info-plist-couldnt-be-opened-because-there-is-no-suc the error comes about because Xcode is looking for Test file which is specified as a target in the build system (I'm still a bit vague on this point), but the file isn't part of the downloadable project files! I solved the build issue by creating a new https://teamtreehouse.com/community/i-am-getting-an-infoplist-utility-error test directory (as specified in the error message) and coping the info.plist file from the development directory into the test directory. Et viola! Hope this helps someone. iain Posting to the forum is only allowed for members with active accounts. Please sign in or sign up to post. "plist couldn’t be opened because there https://tiwarisudhir.wordpress.com/2014/12/30/info-plist-utility-error-xcode/ is no such file" This might be due to wrong build settings. To resolve try this 1- Select project navigator https://teratail.com/questions/5880 2- Select Build settings 3- In Packaging section verify info.plist file path Do you still see the error? t be Confirm that target selected is same as where error is thrown and in file inspector the path is correct. You can check if this is relative to group and path is correct.  Build again to confirm! Share this:TwitterFacebookGoogleLike this:Like couldn’t be opened Loading...
